Cory Geason
- Cory Geason, a native of St. James, LA led his high school football team to an 11-2 season and Quarter Finals appearance in the 1992. His production earned him a spot on the gridiron for the Louisiana All-Star game, a unanimous All State accolades three-time 1st Team All District/All River Parish and All Metro. He was highlighted as one of the Top 30 Players in Louisiana. Cory received statewide scholarship offers including LSU, in addition to powerhouse programs like Arkansas, and Texas A&M.
- The honor roll-athlete took his talents to Tulane where he became a three-time 1st Team All-Conference tight end and left tackle …the first player in Conference USA history to earn All-Conference Honors at two different positions. Cory graduated from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and garnered recognition in high academic achievement as a Tulane 3.0 Club graduate in 1998.
- Prior to earning a spot on the 53-man roster with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cory Geason was named NFL Europe All World Tight End with 30 catches, 299 yards and 8 touchdowns. With the Steelers his skills shined among the best football players in the world where he accrued game balls and a reputation for being “the guy” to run behind – a force that the Buffalo Bills brought to their roster in 2002. Over his collegiate and professional career, Cory Geason lit the airwaves on a few occasions with ESPN’s Play of the Day.
